While you are installing Parallels Desktop 11, the previous version will be removed automatically.

I use bootcamp but unlike you i have win 7 but 32bit. Hi Donald, Windows XP is compatible with Parallels Desktop 11 for Mac and you can continue to run without making any changes in the settings. I'm such an obsessive Lara Croft fan that I purchased 7 (Legend) on disk for PC and download via Steam, Guardian of Light on Steam, Anniversary on PC disk and PS3, Underworld on PC disk and PS3 and the latest reboot for PS3. I only really want the Tomb Raider series, versions 1 to 6, (which I purchased from GOG). ETA: Parallels is working on an update to support M1 but its not there yet.
You can run x86 Mac apps using rosetta, but there is no way to run x86 windows on M1.
